GFI LanGuard integration
Centraleyezer ships two GFI LanGuard templates: Alerts (network vulnerability alerts with CVE references) and Hotfixes (missing patches per host). Export the scan as XML and upload it against the matching source.
Scan types imported
- Network vulnerability alerts
- Missing patches / hotfixes
File import
The Alerts template walks one alert per host; the Hotfixes template walks one hotfix per host.
What Centraleyezer expects in the file
- Alerts: finding name, description and CVE ID per alert, attached to the host ip element.
- Hotfixes: patch title, description and the vendor download URL as the recommendation.
- Assets are matched by the host IP.
How imported findings are risk-scored
Every GFI LanGuard finding is normalised into Centraleyezer’s risk model on import: the scanner’s native severity scale maps to a configurable DREAD vector (Damage, Reproducibility, Exploitability, Affected users, Discoverability), which combines with asset criticality, network exposure, exploitability intelligence and the platform’s other risk factors to produce one comparable risk score across every scanner you run. CVE, CVSS and CWE metadata are preserved on the finding for reference and reporting, and duplicate findings from repeated imports are automatically correlated instead of creating noise.
